Frequently Asked Questions
Q. What is the Rotary Point Paver Project?
A. It is the fundraising component of the Rotary Point at West Bay Park development. The seven Rotary Clubs in Thurston County (Capital Centennial, Hawks Prairie, Lacey, Olympia, South Puget Sound, West Olympia and Tumwater) are developing a portion of the 16 acre site that is to become West Bay Park. The Rotary Clubs are doing this so that the public can enjoy some the area now instead of having to wait years for the full development of the park.

Q. How are donations recognized?
A. To encourage a wide variety of donations, we are providing engraved bricks, pavers, wall seats and benches. Donations are accepted in any amount and recognition starts at $150 and up.

Q. Are contributions to Rotary Point tax deductible?
A. For tax purposes, Rotary Point is a project of the 501c3 charitable arm of the Olympia Rotary Club. Thus, for personal contributions we believe in many situations they will be deductible. However, as always it would be best to verify with your tax preparer to determine if that is the case in your particular situation. A receipt will be provided that can be used to provide the required documentation

Q. Can we make our donation using a credit card?
A. You may use Visa or Master Card. We also accept cash and checks. Checks should be made out to “Rotary Point Paver Project”.
